Since we're on a rating frenzy, it's about time I addressed this again. Sadly, Rith isn't here to reply, and I doubt it will get any better from here. He's made some good stuff before. This. This is not one of them.

For 60 gp, no saving throw (Sense Motive checks every round for an hour doesn't sound like fun for anyone, seriously, that's 600 dice rolls), no indication what the hallucinations actually do or how they're "unable to perceive the world" or whatever, and why is it called Gorgon Blood? What does hallucinations have to do with gorgons? I lost my train of thought somewhere there. Anyways, I wouldn't allow this and I wouldn't recommend anyone else allow it either. Needs an overhaul or just a complete rebuild from concept with a new article.

Interesting, but not sound due to the unaddressed concerns in the discussion. Edit: Wait, people can buy cups of gorgon blood in a human marketplace?

A potent toxin

And only 60gp. Whats the saving throw on this? IS there a save, or straight up DC 25 Sense Motives? Sense Motive ranks aren't omnipresent like Will saves, so this could be a save or suck even at high levels if it doesn't have a save. Otherwise, good item. -- Eiji-kun 08:34, 16 March 2011 (UTC)

I agree that this is too cheap. It's a one time effect that anybody can use, so compare it to a potion for price. It's worth a third level spell at minimum, so it should be at least 450gp. --Havvy 07:49, 17 March 2011 (UTC)
