Looking good so far. If it only takes 1 round to enter and emerge from the cocoon/chrysalis , you may want to add this as an ability (as it may be used in combat). If you do so, you will want to provide the AC, HP, and any resistances the chrysalis has. Something like this:

Chrysalis. If the snotling has access to 1 pound of foot, it may use an action to eat it. As a bonus action, it may form a chrysalis around it (AC 10, HP 1). While in the chrysalis, the snotling is unconscious, completely obscured, and may not be attacked directly (although the chrysalis can be). At the end of the Snotling's following turn, two snotlings emerge in an unoccupied space within 5 feet of the chrysalis (the chrysalis is destroyed in this process).
