pricing

I realize the lesser version of this is almost 1/3rd the price of a wand of Summon Nature's Ally 3. I tend to think that high-level wands are stupidly overpriced anyway, and this is also a fairly class-restrictive item usable only once per encounter. So I'd rather make it affordable and give the nature lovers some summoning flexibility. Spanambula (talk) 12:33, 13 October 2012 (UTC)

By the WBL chart, based on growth from level to level, the lesser orb is first thinkable at 5th level. Given that this is identical to when a druid would get this, and is spammable (once per 10 minutes is basically once per fight), I think it might be a tiny bit good. The moderate (or normal) one is only affordable at 10th level, which I actually think is OK, since druids get SNA 5 at 9th. The greater one is first available at 16th, which, while being technically ahead of the curve (as druids only get SNA 9 at 17th level), is OK, because summon 9s tend to blow a bit. So frankly, I consider the pricing acceptable, although I think the lesser one could use a cost buff. - MisterSinister (talk) 02:14, 14 October 2012 (UTC)
I went back and forth on this for a bit, but I think I agree that the lesser one needed a bit of a price boost. It should now be expensive for 5th, but more affordable for 6th or 7th. Spanambula (talk) 07:45, 17 October 2012 (UTC)
