Balance and Level[edit]

This is either High or Very High balance (not moderate). Further, the level is low for the effects (better a level 7 or 8). --Franken Kesey 19:14, 25 June 2018 (MDT)

Contributor[edit]

For the amount of time and effort that Eiji-kun put into making your idea usable, he should become a contributor. --Franken Kesey 19:14, 25 June 2018 (MDT)

Good point. I've gone ahead and done that. --Luigifan18 (talk) 14:23, 27 June 2018 (MDT)

Effects[edit]

The article mentions the "center" of vortex a few times, how much of it is considered the center (i.e. central 5 feet, 10 feet, etc.)? Do creatures that can burrow get a bonus against this effect; and are flying creatures affected more? --Franken Kesey 19:14, 25 June 2018 (MDT)

The center of the vortex is essentially the same thing as the base, so the center is the central 5 feet. I actually am not sure if burrowing creatures would get a bonus or penalty, but whether they are affected at all depends on whether or not they're deep enough underground to go under the vortex or not; if they actually wind up inside the vortex, then they're affected. As for flying creatures, I'm hard-pressed to imagine how something in midair would be affected by swirling ground or water, considering that it is not in contact with or immersed in said ground or water; it's like using a Ground-type move on a Flying-type Pokémon. If you're not touching the vortex, you're safe; it's not like it's hurling rocks at you or something like that. --Luigifan18 (talk) 14:34, 27 June 2018 (MDT)

With the above being said, this is an awesome spell! Good effects, well described, but to the point. Keep making articles like this one. Fix and answer the above questions, and I may give this a 4/4.
