Comparison[edit]

Doesn't this almost completely outclass Horde Breaker? The only difference that I can see is that HB allows you to full attack one enemy, then hit another. Whirlwind attack allows you to drop every mook you can reach with a move action, plus getting the +16 ability of HB at +11 BAB. -Miryafa

I don't think it does outclass it actually. HB allows you to hit as many enemies as you have AoOs (which you gain more of) after a full-attack, provided they're relatively close to each other and you keep dropping them, which is fairly similar to the move and swing setups of Whirlwind. That's before even pointing out that Whirwind's travelling attacks likely provoke AoOs from your targets. HB's +16 ability also triggers when people attack you at all, which is a pretty substantial improvement over the +11 here that requires you use an attack option that may not be optimal. Lastly, HB has a high DC panic effect in it's fear aura that triggers any time you drop something. It's less useful for mobility, but more useful for breaking up groups of dense enemies. - Tarkisflux Talk 17:52, 14 September 2011 (UTC)

For the LoLz[edit]

We should rename this feat "Spin-2-Win" and require the player to shout "DEMACIA!!" when they use any of the abilities it confers. It's OK if you don't know the reference; someone else will. - TG Cid 03:27, 24 March 2012 (UTC)
