Simply taking an evil class and multiplying its class features by negative one isn't very interesting. You might wanna think of what kind of class features it could give that are unique, rather than just inverted. - MisterSinister 04:41, 2 October 2011 (UTC)
I was trying to emulate the paladins of slaughter and tyranny, which essentially multiply the class features of paladin by negative one, except for the spell list, which I am working on. The bolded spells are ones that I wish to change, also do you think I should keep the inflict wounds spells? The Dire Reverend
I don't understand why an aura of hope provides a -2 penalty to saving throws. I'm also not convinced that the poison use and sneak attack are still appropriate. Then you've got the problem that the Blackguard is almost just a paladin × -1, just like a Paladin of Slaughter or Tyranny is, so the Whiteguard ends up being very close to an ordinary Paladin. Multiplying by -1 twice gets you to 1 again. --Foxwarrior 08:22, 2 October 2011 (UTC)
There are a few minor errors where I figure it's copy paste issues. I thought the aura of hope was one such these. IMO, it can be +2 saves to your allies" instead. That sounds like hope to me. -- Eiji-kun 08:35, 2 October 2011 (UTC)
Which errors in copy paste do you see becides the aura of hope? In addition do you have any good replacement ideas for the bold spells? The Dire Reverend 08:51, 2 October 2011 (UTC)

What Fox said. Also, the paladins of slaughter and tyranny aren't very interesting either. - 118.93.191.193 19:43, 3 October 2011 (UTC)

Poison Use Addendum?[edit]

How about making the whiteguard proficient in ravages, a good poison that only affects evildoers and, ergo, isn't evil per se to use? That'd give him, her, or it more options. --HB Forged (talk) 08:21, 17 October 2018 (MDT)

Edit: And yes, I'm talking about from the Book of Exalted Deeds.
