1. See Damage Increases by Size to calculate the damage for a weapon larger than Medium or smaller than Small.
2. Weight figures are for Medium weapons. A Small weapon weighs half as much, and a Large weapon weighs twice as much.
3. When two types are given, the weapon is both types if the entry specifies "and", either type (player's choice at time of attack) if the entry specifies "or", or each end of the double weapon is a different type if the entry specifies "/".
4. The hp value given is for Medium armor, weapons, and shields. Divide by 2 for each size category of the item smaller than Medium, or multiply it by 2 for each size category larger than Medium.
Made for trench warfare, trench knives are powerful good stabbing weapons. A knuckle guard is included on the hilt to prevent disarming and the blade is built sturdily to endure long drawn out fights. While wielding a trench knife you gain a +4 bonus against being disarmed. A masterwork trench knife can also be used to deliver slashing damages. If you do not have exotic weapon proficiency with a trench knife it use the same damages and critical threat/multiplier as a dagger.
A trench knife can be used as a martial weapons without penalties, however if you gain exotic weapon proficiency you gain special bonuses while wielding it. You halve penalties to attack rolls when fighting defensively with a trench knife, however only to attacks made with the trench knife. You count the trench knife as a one-handed weapon when beneficial, which mean you may power attack with it among other things.
