Welcome![edit]

Hello and welcome to our wiki!

I noticed that you brought one of your articles from dandwiki over, but didn't adjust the formatting on it at all. We use a few different categories and also rely on more semantic properties than they do, so your article doesn't quite fit in here with just a simple copy/paste. There's a lot of copying and pasting that can be done, but it works best if you use our preloads and copy your sections into the appropriate sections there. If you need any help getting the Cattine formatted, let me know or feel free to ask in our chat room.

And your race has also generated a lot of concern, which can be found on it's talk page. Just thought I'd let you know in case you missed it in the recent changes. - Tarkisflux Talk 04:42, 16 August 2012 (UTC)

Did some work on both my characters. Attempting to smooth them out and update them. Krahazik 19:34, 16 August 2012 (UTC)

Grace Period[edit]

This wiki has very high quality control. Should ones article receive a overall average of 0.5 or below the article becomes sandboxed – an appropriation wherein the article is removed from the main page then linked to your user page – not per se deleting it, more making it harder to access (for other possible players). This standard has its reasons (which you are welcome to argue against). The customary grace period, before the article is sand-boxed, is a week – where one can fix issues and petition others to change ratings. Yet I am one to consider extending the grace period for new users by one week, certainly the standards and tables take time to learn. --Franken Kesey 00:37, 17 August 2012 (UTC)

Let me try to explain that a bit better. We do in fact 'sandbox' articles that are very poorly regarded by the community. If an article is rated such that it gains that status, we allow it 1 week (minimum) to address the causes of such a rating. I say minimum because the move is a manual process, and if it's obvious that an attempt is being made or a discussion is ongoing it could well be blown off for a while. But even if an article does get moved, it wouldn't get deleted unless you requested it. The goal here is not to tell people that they can't store material they're happy with here or that they have to change it, but to keep material that the community is unhappy with from being found in the main navigation area.
So even if everyone is telling you that they don't like your race or class or whatever, there's no need to delete it if your happy with it. You don't have to change it if you don't want to either. It might get moved to a subpage of your user page, but that doesn't make it any harder for you to reference for your own uses. - Tarkisflux Talk 01:12, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
