Witchslayer Crystal[edit]
This crystal is the bane of spellcasters, stripping buffs from pesky enemies.
- Least
Attacks made with a weapon that bears this crystal ignore concealment or miss chance derived from spells or spell-like abilities, and on a successful hit the target is unable to cast defensively for one round.
- Lesser
This version works as per the least crystal, and on a successful attack, a weapon with this crystal duplicates the effect of a targeted dispel magic on the target with an effective CL equal to your HD (which can even be used to target magical effects such as summoned creatures, illusions, a darkness spell, and the like).
- Greater
This version works as per the lesser crystal, but the CL is capped at 20 (as per greater dispel magic) and, on a successful hit, the target must make a Concentration check (DC equal to damage dealt) in order to cast a spell or activate a spell-like ability for one round.
