|benefit=You can possess a corpse as if it were a living creature, a corpse offering no resistance to your possession. When possessing a corpse, you use the creature's statistics as its living counterpart, except for the following changes:
* You are constantly [[SRD:Staggered|staggered]], bypassing immunities.
* Its type changes to undead.
* Unlike a normal undead, a corpse is neither healed by positive nor negative energy.
* The corpse does not degrade while you inhabit it.
* If a creature is subject to [[SRD:Raise Dead|raise dead]] or [[SRD:Resurrection|resurrected]] while you inhabit its corpse, you are automatically ejected.
