Your firebolt takes on physical substance, appearing similar to whip.
As a full-round action, you can make a single melee touch attack as if wielding a whip. If you hit, your target is affected as if struck by your firebolt (including any eldritch essence applied to the firebolt) and thus cannot deal non-lethal damage. Unlike hideous blow, you cannot combine your fire lash with damage from a held weapon. Furthermore, until the start of your next turn, you also threaten nearby squares as if wielding a whip, and you can make attacks of opportunity with your fire lash. These are melee touch attacks.
If your base attack bonus is +6 or higher, you can (as part of the full-round action) make as many attacks with your fire lash as your base attack bonus allows.
If you have the two-weapon fighting feat, you may conjure two fire lashes instead of one. Allowing extra attacks as normal for two-weapon fighting.
Finally you can prematurely expend your fire lash, turning it a flamethrower instead of a whip. If you do so, the fire lash end immediately after your attack.
Any feats and items you have that applies to whips also applies to fire lash.
