The werewolf continues to regenerate...

A variation of the werewolf which possesses powerful regeneration, and a primal insanity. A rare mutation of the lycan, once they enter this hybrid form they never shift out of it naturally.

Combat[edit]

Lycantrolls can be more forward than a typical werewolf due to their regeneration.

Berserker (Ex): If the lycantroll takes more than either half its hp in a single blow or 50 hp (whichever is lower), or drops below 0 hp, it automatically goes into a rage as a barbarian of their level. In addition, if they would take enough damage to go unconscious or die, or they are affected by an ability which would kill them, they continue to fight for 1d3 rounds before falling.

Curse of Lycanthropy (Su): Any humanoid or giant hit by a lycantroll's bite attack in wolf or hybrid form must succeed on a DC 15 Fortitude save or contract lycanthropy, turning into a normal werewolf with a rare (5%) chance of being a lycantroll.

Regeneration (Ex): Fire and silver deal normal damage to a lycantroll. If a lycantroll loses a limb or body part, the lost portion regrows in 3d6 minutes. The creature can reattach the severed member instantly by holding it to the stump.

Lycantrolls get stronger around blood, absorbing it through their skin. Any round it injures a blood bearing creature or sufficient amounts of blood, its regenerations doubles for 1 round.

Rend (Ex): If a lycantroll hits with both claw attacks, it latches onto the opponent’s body and tears the flesh. This attack automatically deals an additional 2d6+12 points of damage.

Wolf Empathy (Ex): Communicate with wolves and dire wolves, and +4 racial bonus on Charisma-based checks against wolves and dire wolves.

Skills: A lycantroll in hybrid or wolf form gains a +4 racial bonus on Survival checks when tracking by scent.
