(A small bonus to sorcerers who take it, so their spell known slot won't be jammed with a spell they will only cast once.)

Alternatively it is possible to cast this spell as a standard action, if that is the case the caster do not die nor he has to pay the corruption cost. This version of the spell is casted as a normal spell not requiring the caster to be slain. However the effect is much lesser, replicating two ''greater bestow curse'' but with an instantaneous duration and can only be reversed by the effect of a [[SRD:Wish|''wish'']] or [[SRD:Miracle|''miracle'']]. Otherwise it follow all normal rule for ''greater bestow curse''.

An Eternal Curse Upon Thee
Necromancy [Curse]
Level: Cleric 9, Sorcerer/Wizard 9
Components: V, Corrupt
Casting time: 1 free action or 1 standard action (see text)
Range: Long (400 ft. + 40 ft./level)
Target: One creature/level (see text)
Duration: Instantaneous
Saving Throw: None (see text)
Spell Resistance: No

The moon sorcerer spins gracefully to the ground. His form bloodied and his life dimming, with his last words, he condemns his slayer to a terrible fate.

This terrible spell can only be cast as the caster is slain, but unlike most spells, it cannot be interrupted or countered. The targets of the spell need not be within line of sight, but must have participated in some way to the killing of the caster. Upon resolving, the soul of the caster is banished to oblivion, thus making it unable to be resurrected in any way, shape, or form.

All affected creatures receive one of the following effects (if the caster wishes, he can use a different effect for different creatures):

  • The target takes twice as much damage from all sources, and all damage he deals to others is halved.
  • The target always counts as having rolled a 1 on all skill and ability checks.
  • The target is staggered and blinded.
  • Critical hits inflicted on the target will kill her extremely gruesomely; if the target had immunity to critical hits, it is removed.
  • Once the target dies, its soul is sent to oblivion, making all kinds of resurrection impossible.

You may also invent your own curse, but it should be no more powerful than those described above.

The curse is utterly permanent; however, it can warded off for 24 hours by a wish or miracle with a caster level equal to or greater than the caster level of an An Eternal Curse Upon Thee. At the DM's option, the curse can be removed by a powerful artifact, divine intervention, or such.

Corruption Cost: Soul consigned to oblivion.*
