This spell uses psychic energy to cause the target's blood vessels to burst, causing a fatal hemorrhage. The target must make a Fortitude, or start bleeding from all facial orifices, taking 1d6 bleed damage on subsequent turns. If the target succeeds, the caster may force another save the following round by concentrating on the spell. Once the target fails its save, it cannot staunch the bleeding while the caster concentrates on this spell. The bleed damage dealt by this spell stacks with the bleed damage inflicted by dark half.
If the target moves beyond the spell range, the spell immediately ends. The bleed damage persists after the spell duration, and must be stopped normally.
Psybleed II[edit]
School necromancy; Level psychic 3
This functions as psybleed I, except that bleed damage increases to 1d6 per 3 caster level (maximum 5d6) and the target is sickened while the caster is concentrating. This spell can be undercast.
Psybleed III[edit]
School necromancy; Level psychic 4
Targets: One living creature/2 levels.
This functions as psybleed II, except it targets multiple creatures. If a target moves beyond the spell range, the spell immediately ends for that creature. This spell can be undercast.
Psybleed IV[edit]
School necromancy; Level psychic 5
This functions as psybleed II, except it that it deals 1d6 points of bleed damage per 2 level and the target is nauseated while the caster is concentrating. This spell can be undercast.
Psybleed V[edit]
School necromancy; Level psychic 6
Targets: One living creature/2 levels.
This functions as psybleed IV, except it targets multiple creatures. If a target moves beyond the spell range, the spell immediately ends for that creature. This spell can be undercast.
