Gaff / Hook | 5 gp | 1d8 piercing | 2 lbs | Special |
A gaff is a hook used by fishermen consisting of a metal hook on a wood or metal base. Someone with martial experience would find it similar to a modified war pick.
Special: On a hit a target, no more than one size larger than you, is grappled by the gaff. Attacking again with the gaff breaks the grappled condition. If the target breaks the grappled condition with a contested Athletics check you lose your grip on the gaff and are disarmed.
