Moonstone Dragon's Lair

[3] For the lairs, moonstone dragons look for places kissed by the moon…

The challenge rating of a legendary moonstone dragon increases by 1 when it's encountered in its lair.

Lair Actions

[3] When fighting inside its lair, an moonstone dragon can use lair actions. On initiative count 20 (losing initiative ties), the dragon takes a lair action to cause one of the following effects; the dragon can’t use the same effect two rounds in a row:

  • Banish into Dream.
  • Compulsive Dance.
  • Disorienting Visions.

Regional Effects

[3] The region surrounding [a] moonstone dragon's lair [has] the following effects:

  • Dream Communication.
  • Planar Transition.

If the dragon dies, any portals near the lair close immediately.
