The ground erupted around you into dozens of pillars of flames.
When you cast this spell, all creatures in the area are struck with 1d4-1 pillars of flames (minimum 0) which deal 1d6 points of fire damage per two caster levels (maximum 10d6 at 20th level) and they are knocked prone. On a successful save, they take no damage but if they move through the area they must make another saving throw against 1d4-1 more pillars for every 5 ft they move.
The pillars continue to spring up for 1 round. Any creatures besides the caster who attempt to pass through the area are affected by 1d4-1 pillars and must make the saving throw.
