This invocation transforms the caster's basic magical projectile (eldritch blast, fire bolt, wind bullet, sand blast, or paint shot) into a river-like mass of energy that spreads out to fill out all available space. Because the blast becomes effectively a spread, it hits automatically, without requiring an attack roll; however, victims are entitled to a Reflex save for half damage. The mass of energy behaves like water, flowing along the ground from higher to lower elevation. It can travel up to 120 feet in a single round, and remains active for 1 round per 4 caster levels, after which it fades away. You can only cast this invocation once every three rounds.
This invocation has different names among different groups of casters. Warlocks call it either "Eldritch Riverflow" or "Eldritch Stream" (the latter name arguably fits the invocation better, but can result in some confusion). Pyromaniacs often call it "Magma Flow", while wind mages typically call it "Tumbling Winds" and sand mages typically call it “Rushing Sands”.
This invocation is considered a [Fire] effect when cast by a pyromaniac, an [Air] effect when cast by a wind mage, an [Earth] effect when cast by a sand mage, or a [Paint] effect when cast by an Art Flow User. It has no descriptor when cast by a warlock.
