Wizards have to work night shifts as well, of course we made something to handle this.
The mug of endless coffee is a simple looking mug with some design on it such as "World's No. 1 Wizard" on the side, apparently ceramic but tough as steel, and with a transmutation circle at the bottom of the cup. When the handle is grasped and a command word is spoken, an amount of caffinated or decaffinated coffee pours out, with or without any amount of cream and sugar and at various temperatures. Separate command words determine the type as well as the volume and velocity.
Fill fills the mug with coffee, stopping automatically once full. This is the most common command for those wishing to drink the coffee themselves.
Stream pours out 1 gallon per round, usually used to fill the cups of others.
Fountain produces a 5-foot-long stream at 5 gallons per round.
Geyser produces a 20-foot-long, 1-foot-wide stream at 30 gallons per round.
The geyser effect causes considerable back pressure, requiring the holder to make a DC 12 Strength check to avoid being knocked down. The force of the geyser deals 1d4 points of damage but can only affect one target per round. Hot coffee (as is typically produced) deals an additional 1d4 points of fire damage, but does not catch anything on fire. The command word must be spoken to stop it.
If you conjure a strong cup of caffinated coffee you can drink it, and enjoy the benefits associated with coffee.
