The Day The Earth Stood Still
Transmutation
Level: Sorcerer/Wizard 9, Sloth 9
Components: V, S, F
Casting time: 1 round
Range: Personal
Area: 1 mile/level radius burst, centered on you
Duration: 1 round/level
Saving Throw: None
Spell Resistance: No

Upon completion of this spell, a number of rounds passes equal to your caster level during which time no one within the area of effect is able to act. While this spell is in effect, creatures inside the area are unable to be affected by any effect that originated after the day the earth stood still was cast. Inside, however, creatures maintain awareness and time passes normally; they are simply unable to do anything while the spell is in effect. Spell effects inside this area that have a duration longer than “Instantaneous” continue to have their durations depreciate with each passing round, with any pre-existing effects accumulating on their subjects, who may attempt saving throws as normal.
