Artimancer's Coat

Artimancer's Coat
Price: 4,000 gp
Body Slot: Robe/Armor
Caster Level: 5th
Aura: Faint Abjuration and Transmutation; DC 17
Activation: Use-activated (continuous)
Weight: 2 lbs.

This clean, white, long coat has several large pockets on the outside and inside. There are buttons for fastening it up and for securing rolled-up the sleeves. A fabric belt wraps around it at the waist.

The artimancer's coat is nigh indestructible itself. It is entirely resistant to acid, cold, fire, electricity, sonic and mundane damage as well as stains, discoloration and bad odors. Any other effect that would damage it instead only deals 1 damage per damage die. The artimancer's coat repairs itself for 1 HP per round. It has 10 HP and 2 hardness.

It provides an armor bonus of +1, requiring no proficiency, and is treated as masterwork armor for the purposes of enhancing as armor. It confers Damage Reduction 1/— against physical damage and Resistance to Energy 1 against all forms of energy damage. Effects that would normally overcome such protections are negated, because seriously, it's 1 point. Artimancer's coat. Deal with it.

Prerequisites: Craft Wondrous Item, protection from energy and temper.
Cost to Create: 2,000 gp, 160 EXP, 2 days.
