If the character has some help, cut this time in half. A single character doing nothing else can help one or two adjacent characters. Two characters can't help each other don armor at the same time.

Light plate from initial appearances seems to be Full Plate, but a closer inspection reveals the metal plates are very thin with significantly more points of articulation. While this weakens the armor, it enables greater mobility and grace. If made out of a special material which increases the armor's maximum Dexterity (such as mithral) the increase in maximum Dexterity improves by 1 more, and the armor check penalty decreases by 1 more (to a minimum of 0).

Light plate has a +10 disguise check to appear to be full plate.

Light plate is composed of multiple snap-on smaller plates, so it takes more time to don than normal light armor. One can wear only partial amounts of the light plate, in which case increase the maximum Dexterity by 1, reduce armor check penalty by 2, and reduce the armor bonus by 2. Donning partial light plate, or donning the complete light plate from partial, takes half the time it takes to don the full set.
