Kim was surprised to see that she was flanked by Kristine... and Kristine. It was going to be an interesting night.
As this spell reach completion, the caster create a duplicate of herself. It share her mind, goals, thoughts and personality, diverging from the moment it is created. The duplicate is aware that it will rejoin the caster once destroyed or the spell end, and will follow the caster's order and protect her with her life. The quantum clone will not obey order against her (and thus the caster's nature) unless magically compelled to. The clone has it own set of action and is not under the control of the caster. While it is not in telepathic communication with the caster (unless aided by another source) it is aware of the caster's resource and since it is only divergent by a few seconds will use them according to her wishes.
A quantum clone has 1/4th the hit point of the caster, and is able to cast spells and used the caster's own abilities as if it was the caster. It possess the exact same gear as the caster. The caster is quantum locked with it clone, if either use a finite resource (such as a scroll, a potion or a spell) it is consumed for both. If the clone is destroyed, the caster take 1 negative level which cannot be removed, but never cause level loss and automatically vanish in 24 hours.
Once the duration run out or the clone is destroyed, it vanish into the ether alongside all equipment it came with. You gain all memories as if you were occupying the body of the clone, passing any ability burn, mental ability damage or mental ability drain the clone had to yourself.
