A divine brooch used by pilgrims to help them in their penance.
This carved wooden brooch is made by the priests to wish good luck to the pilgrim who is going to travel the world and spread the faith. The wearer of this brooch chooses a tutelary deity whose alignment corresponds to his own. As long as he wears this brooch and have the same alignment as the chosen god, he is considered as a level 1 priest (but gain no special ability or spells), and he can use the Guidance and Shield of Faith spell once per day each. His effective caster level is equal to half his skill rank in Knowledge (Religion) (minimum 1), to a maximum of his character level. This effect cannot stack with a real level in a divine spellcaster class.
Prerequisites: Craft Wondrous Item, SRD:Guidance, SRD:Shield of Faith.
