Vibrolithe
Vibrolithe is a nearly indestructible metallic substance that always seem to be vibrating in 'tonal frequencies'. The metal’s vibrations are not perceptible by the very majority of living beings, only the most sensitive being able to feel them. This strange material has its origin tied to an alien species, who harvested the material from a single planet. As a result the supply of vibrolithe is very limited.
Vibrolithe makes rather fantastic weapon, functioning as Adamantine weapons and dealing +2 damage, which stack with any enhancements. However vibrolithe is indestructible, any attempts to damage the weapon with sunder or attacking the weapon deals the weapon’s base damage back onto the attacker’s weapon. This damage bypasses hardness of less than 20. Ammunition made of vibrolithe never breaks, however it loses all magical qualities after a single successful hit.
Due to it nigh indestructible nature, vibrolithe make incredibly protective armor. Once again, vibrolithe behave like Adamantine, granting DR as an adamantine armor of its weight category. A vribrolithe armor also has it armor bonus increased by +1, this does not apply to shields.
Vibrolithe is invincible; it cannot be damaged or destroyed in any way unless first made vulnerable. The only way of making vibrolithe vulnerable to damage is by exposing it to a powerful sonic frequency. Doing so requires subjecting the item to at least 30 sonic of sonic damage. Once done, the item will be vulnerable to harm for 1 minute. While vulnerable, vibrolithe has 60 hit points per inch of thickness and hardness 30.
