Awaken the energy manipulating abilities of the p'troid. 6 0 Moderate Poor Poor Good Invocations Full

P'Troid ParagonEdit

The alien P'Troid species are capable of manipulating energy in ways which are fundamentally similar to warlocks and their eldritch blasts. They can take this paragon class which grants them access to special abilities and improved biological vigor.

Making a P'Troid ParagonEdit

Class FeaturesEdit

All of the following are class features of the P'Troid Paragon.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: P'Troid paragon are proficient with all simple weapons. They are proficient with light armor but not with shields.

Invocations: P'Troid paragons use invocations as a WarlockCA, and the class stacks with warlock and warlock related classes for the purpose of determining invocations per day, caster level, and highest level invocation known (least, lesser, greater, or dark). It does not stack for any other warlock class feature. Invocations are Charisma based.

In addition to the invocations, essences, and shapes typically granted to warlocks p'troid paragons gain access to a series of unique invocations. See the additional invocations below.

Eldritch Blast (Sp): P'Troid paragons gain eldritch blast as a warlock of their level.

Rapid Healing (Ex): The 2nd level p'troid paragon gains Rapid Healing 2.

Bonus Invocations: At 3rd level p'troid paragons learn the Walk Unseen invocation, even if they otherwise would not qualify for it. If they already knew Walk Unseen, they make choose a new invocation. They cannot use Walk Unseen to qualify for pre-requisites until they have the ability to select at minimum lesser invocations.

At 5th level the p'troid paragon gains Flee the Scene with the same limitations.

Void Flight (Su): The 4th level p'troid paragon gains an improved ability to hover. They may raise or lower elevation as per levitate at will, and travel horizontally at half speed (cannot run). In low or no gravity environments this instead grants a thrustless flight speed equal to your land speed (perfect).

Gaseous Escape (Su): At 6th level the p'troid paragon constantly is under the effect of greater gaseous form, but can only use the immediate action form. When the ability is used, it becomes disabled for 24 hours after you reform.

Regenerative Healing (Ex): P'Troid paragons at 6th level gain regeneration equal to their Constitution modifier (minimum 1, maximum 5). It is bypassed by any cold, force, or magic damage (including magic weapons).

Unique InvocationsEdit

Encasing Beam (Essence): This eldritch essence invocation encases those struck by it with an ectoplasmic gel. On a failed Reflex save they are entangled and have their land speed reduced to 0 ft (and 1/2 their other movement speeds) for 1 round. Save negates. 3rd. Lesser Invocation.

Radioactive Beam (Essence): This eldritch essence is highly radioactive. Treat your eldritch blast as a radioactive darklight ranged weapon. 4th. Lesser Invocation.

Shrapnel Beam (Blast Shape): This blast shape invocation disperses your beam as a wide area spray of smaller shots. The blast becomes a 15 ft cone, and there is no attack roll or save against the damage of the blast. However, the blast deals 1/2 damage. 2nd. Least Invocation.

Super Rocket (Blast Shape, Essence): Both a blast shape and essence at the same time, the eldritch blast comes out as a single concentrated bolt. On impact, it deals maximum damage to its primary target and normal damage to everyone else in a 10 ft radius, Reflex for half. Attacking with this invocation is a full round action. 6th. Greater Invocation.

Sweep Beam (Blast Shape): This blast shape invocation turns the eldritch blast into a 30 ft line, followed by a 30 ft 2 dimensional cone which sweeps from the line. A creature only takes damage from the effect once, with a Reflex halves damage. Attacking with this invocation is a full round action. 4th. Lesser Invocation.
