I realize the lesser version of this is almost 1/3rd the price of a wand of Summon Nature's Ally 3. I tend to think that high-level wands are stupidly overpriced anyway, and this is also a fairly class-restrictive item usable only once per encounter. So I'd rather make it affordable and give the nature lovers some summoning flexibility.
