This spell causes a small eruption of boiling lava, which scorches those close to it. As you cast this spell, choose a grid intersection that connects to the ground. All creatures and objects adjacent to that grid intersection take 2d6 points of bludgeoning damage and 1d6 point of fire damage per caster level (maximum of 10d6) and fall prone. The plume of lava reaches 30 feet high, dealing damage to all creatures above the initial point, but they do not risk falling prone. A successful Reflex save halves the damage and negate the prone effect. All squares adjacent to the grid intersection are treated as difficult terrain until the area is cleared.
This spell may replaces acid arrow or flame arrow as a 3rd level spell for the Magma arcane school. A volcano oracle may choose this spell instead of protection from energy as a 3rd level spell.
