Beastsilk[edit]

A refined soft fabric made from the fur of certain magical beasts, usually cat-like creatures. It is known to be flexible, protective and mildly magical. Beastsilk is typically white, but can be dyed in many colors. It is extremely soft to the touch, making it highly sought after.

This material can be woven into any armor normally made of fabric or leather and clothes. Any armor or clothes made from beastsilk has its weight halved, armors have their armor check penalty reduced by 2 and max dexterity increased by 1. Additionally, residual magic held in the material acts as a protective charm, granting a +1 luck bonus to AC to those wearing beastsilk armor or clothes.

Beastsilk has 6 hit points per inch of thickness and hardness 4.

Type of Beastsilk Item Item Cost Modifier
Clothe +2,000 gp
Light armor +2,500 gp
Medium armor +3,750 gp
Heavy armor +5,000 gp
