A unique creature of myth, the blue tiger is a fierce predator where it prowls the wilderness.

Combat

The blue tiger gains a deflection bonus, enhancement bonus and natural armor bonus to AC equal to a fifth of its HD total. Its natural attacks are considered adamantine, magical and silver for the purposes of overcoming damage reduction and hardness where applicable.

Its preferred tactic is to swat away foes with the last swipe of its claws and use it's extra attack granted by haste to bite, potentially gaining more rake attacks. If it can't secure a victory within 6 rounds of activating it's Tiger Surge, it prefers to flee if it can.

The blue tiger gains maximum HP per HD. A successful attack roll must be made against it when delivering a coup de grace.

Tiger Dodge (Ex): The blue tiger never provokes attacks of opportunity for the first 15 of movement it takes. It possesses uncanny dodge and improved uncanny dodge as a barbarian of its CR.

Tiger Surge (Su): Once per hour, the blue tiger may, as a swift action, enter a tiger surge, gaining the effects of air walk, haste, energy resistance 10 (all) and fast healing 10 for 1 minute.

Tiger Swat (Ex): Whenever subject to a combat maneuver trick (such as an opposed grapple check or a trip attempt) and the attempt fails, a blue tiger may take a free bull rush against its opponent, though it does not move with its opponent on a success. It may also use this ability whenever it deals damage with its claw attack, though the damage becomes non-lethal instead.

Tiger Without Reason (Ex): The blue tiger treats any social check against it (such as a Diplomacy or Intimidate check) as having rolled at most a 5 on the d20 for the check. It rolls twice on its Will saves, taking the better result.

Unstoppable (Ex): The blue tiger ignores difficult terrain and ignores anything which halves its speed (though it is subject to other effects which it may carry, such as slow). For things which reduce its speed even further, such as solid fog or being prone, it is instead reduced to half speed.

Pounce (Ex): If the blue tiger charges a foe, it can make a full attack, including two rake attacks.

Improved Grab (Ex): To use this ability, the blue tiger must hit with a bite attack. If it gets a hold, it can rake.

Rake (Ex): The blue tiger can make two attacks (+36 melee) against a held creature with its hind legs for 2d6+5 points of damage each. If the blue tiger pounces on an opponent, it can also rake.

Skills: The Blue tiger receives a +8 racial bonus on Survival checks. *In areas of tall grasses or heavy undergrowth, the Survival bonus improves to +16.
