Bōnjira is a titantic, bipedal beast of reptilian nature, composed of bones. The creature reaches 90 feet in length and stands to a height of nearly 50 feet. It weighs about 65 tons. Bōnjira is mighty.

Despite lacking vocal cords, Bōnjira roars as if it does not care.

Combat[edit]

Bōnjira attacks with its claws, teeth, horns, and tail when engaged with opponents in melee or with large structures in its way. Its melee attacks count as magical siege weapons and ignoring hardness less than 10 and count as magical for the purposes of bypassing damage reduction.

Bōnjira Undead Traits (Ex): In addition to normal undead traits, Bōnjira is immune to all forms of ability damage and ability drain. Any ability penalty or other penalty it takes is halved (along with the duration any penalty would last, where permanent durations are reduced instead to 1 hour).

If reduced to 0 HP or less, Bōnjira falls inert and releases a wave of blue hellfire, dealing 24d6 damage in its space plus its 30' reach (no save if within its space, but Reflex save DC 34 for half damage for its reach area). Its corpse then breaks apart and begins sinking into the cosmic ether, where it leaves behind 1d4+4×10,000 gp worth of andeddo wildbone (hardness and HP as mithral).

Cosmic Roar (Ex): Once per minute as a standard action, Bōnjira can let loose a tremendous roar that wracks the world around it. A 2 mile radius around Bōnjira is subjected to shatter and greater dispel magic as an area (caster level 24th, the save DC is Charisma-based). This leaves an area of Terrible Desolation. While in this area, Bōnjira gains Fast Healing 15. The area of Terrible Desolation ends after 24 hours.

Energy Hindrance (Ex): Bōnjira takes half damage from energy of all kinds, including light, divine, profane and typeless energy. If Bōnjira is affected by negative energy, it instead heals 150%, even if the effect would have otherwise damaged it (healing up to its maximum HP total).

Eternal Restless Pride (Ex): Bōnjira cannot be commanded or controlled in any way or form, for its restless undead pride makes it too stubborn. Any creature attempting to control it is likely to directly rouse its ire instead.

Multiplier Damage Reduction (Ex): Any time Bōnjira is struck with a damage multiplier (such as from a charge attack), its damage reduction is multiplied by the same multiplier.

Trip (Ex): If Bōnjira hits with its tail attack, it can attempt to trip the opponent (+33 check modifier) as a free action without making a touch attack or provoking an attack of opportunity. If the attempt fails, the opponent cannot react to trip Bōnjira.

Ultrabreath (Su): As it begins to roar, a roiling jet of black and silver energy erupts from Bōnjira's jagged skull. As a standard action, Bōnjira can expel a dreadful 70 foot cone of negative energy that penetrates through structures and objects, ignoring cover (even total cover), dealing 48d6 negative energy damage (Reflex save DC 34 for half damage). The save DC is Charisma-based. Once used, Bōnjira cannot use this ability again for 1d4 rounds, though it may spend a move action to refresh a single round on its subsequent turns.

Ultrabreath Blue (Su): If below half its maximum HP total, Bōnjira can call upon its inner terrible energy, transforming its Ultrabreath into an even more hellacious form. With this attack, the jets of energy become blue hellfire and are maximized. Ultrabreath Blue is not halved before hardness for structures, counting as a siege weapon.
