Your weapon gains an dark aura as it seems to be craving for a lone victim.
If there are no creatures with an Int score greater than 2 within 40 feet of your attack target that are 'Fanatic', 'helpful', or 'friendly' towards them within sight, the weapon deals (caster level)d6 vile damage. Additionally, anything hit needs to make a Will save vs Panicked; if the save is successful, then the subject is Frightened (No save; see below)
When there is a creature in sight within 30 feet; damage is halved (rounded up) and no will save is needed.
- If Panicked, each round subject must make a Will save to reduce to being Frightened
- If Frightened, each round subject must make a Will save to reduce to being Shaken
- If Shaken, subjects need to make a Will save vs Shaken to negate at the end of each turn
The weapon affected absorbs light, reducing the illumination within the wielder's space.
Material Component: a chunk of darkened glass.
