The diminuinas was forged by the frost giant Lokk Stonehold deep within his fortress stronghold in the old days of ancient Zenitt. The client it was crafted for never retrieved it, as it remained in the stronghold many years after Lokk's death. It appears to be the last thing he crafted, and it is speculated that its enchantments are still yet incomplete.
The diminuinas is a suit of Medium-sized +1 full plate armor made from an unknown blue metal with unusual properties. It is as strong and durable as mithral, but still as heavy as steel, and greatly resists changes in temperatures. It grants energy resistance 5 for both Cold and Fire damage.
The magical qualities of the armor allow it to change its size to fit a wearer from Small to Large and can be donned without help. Any size-altering effects placed upon the wearer have their durations doubled. The armor may even be shrunken down to 1/16th its size or restored with a command when not worn. For each additional +1 enhancement to the armor's base value, its energy resistances increase by 1.
The wearer can command the armor to shrink themselves a size (as though by reduce person) which lasts until otherwise commanded or the armor is removed.
Up to three rounds per day, which need not be consecutive, the wearer may as a free action, activate the armor. When activated, the resistance to Cold and Fire damage granted by the armor is doubled. Its ordinary resistance value is applied to all other energy damage types.
The diminuinas is a unique item that cannot be replicated, but it is not an artifact. It may be further enhanced (or destroyed) as normal, counting as a +2 magical armor.
