Orcus hungers endlessly for more power, and in his hunger, he swallows souls whole. While you cannot approach his power, you can steal the strength of others to feed yourself.
If applied, this invocation causes anyone dealt damage by your abyssal blast (regardless of the option chosen) to make a Fort save or take a -4 penalty to Strength. If this inflicts a penalty on a creature whose CR is equal to or greater to your character level, you also heal 4d8 + your character level hit points. Note that this only applies once, regardless of how many creatures fail their save. At the beginning of each affected creature's turn, that creature can attempt a new save, at the original DC, to end the Strength penalty for itself only.
