Brewed commonly among deep-woods elves and fey cultures, dryad's milk has only recently become popular in other cultures, appearing in trade bazaars and apothecaries with increasing regularity. While still a specialty potation enjoyed almost exclusively by female elves and fey, many others suffer through the taste simply for the benefits it grants. For whatever reason, female elves and fey relish the flavor. Others remark that the flavor possesses primary notes of bitter grass and bog water.
Dryad's milk grants its imbiber several benefits often associated with the plant and fey types. The drinker gains Low-Light Vision, Damage Reduction X/cold iron (where X is equal to ½ the drinker's HD total, minimum of 1), Trackless Step (leaving behind no trail from which to be tracked in natural areas if desired), as well as a +2 bonus on saves against sleep effects, paralysis, polymorphing, stunning and mind-affecting effects (charms, compulsions, phantasms, patterns, and morale effects). In addition, the drinker's AC is calculated as 2 greater for the purpose of confirming critical hits.
The effects of this potion last for 1d4+1 hours. At the end of the duration, the drinker is fatigued, no save, for however long the effects lasted.
There is a small (10%) chance that the drinker turns a greenish color for the duration.
Prerequisites: Brew Potion, plant growth.
Cost to Create: 375 gp, 30 EXP, 1 day.
