Prerequisite: Precursor 

Legendary guardians of the precursor traditions-- relics of nature. You have collected the knowledge of the elements, whether you have already learned about its basic principles or you have acquired the skills of martial combat. The merging of the two principles makes you realize that there is more to the worlds than just earth and life. The cosmos itself is an endless soup of power and lore waiting to be discovered by the young minds that have longed awaited their ascension to becoming the true defenders of their faith. Thus, the Elemental Guardian was born to fulfill this role and to collectively protect this power from falling into the wrong hands or into the minds of the common folk.

As a guardian, you are focused on protecting those around you while summoning the powers of the elements to hedge out your foes. You have access to the power source that fuels the elements and that power gives you focus.

Elemental Guardian Path Features[edit]

Elemental Soul (11th level): You gain Resistance 5 to any elemental keyword of your choice. At 21st level, you can select two more elemental keywords to gain resistance against.
Guardian Action (11th level): When you spend an action point to take an extra action, all allies adjacent to you gain temporary hit points equal to 3 + your Intelligence modifier.
Spirit of Cosmos (16th level): The range for the word of cosmos racial power becomes area burst 5 and all allies in burst gain a +1 power bonus to attack rolls.



Elemental Guardian Path Powers

Divine Fortune
The stars shine above you and covers the air before you with blinding brilliance—halting the advance of your foes.
Encounter ✦ Radiant
Standard Action Close Burst 5
Target: Each creature in burst
Attack: Intelligence vs. Fortitude
Hit: 2d6 + Intelligence modifier Radiant damage, and the target is blinded and cannot benefit from cover or concealment until the end of your next turn.
Miss: 1d6 + Intelligence modifier Radiant damage, and the target is dazed (save ends).
Effect: All allies within burst gain a +1 bonus to all defenses until the start of your next turn.

Dance of Stars
With a swift movement, you dance about your enemies—making calculated strikes when anyone draws near.
Encounter ✦ Stance
Move Action Personal
Effect: You shift a number of squares equal to your Intelligence modifier. Until the stance ends, any enemy that ends their move adjacent to you takes 2 + your Wisdom modifier damage.

Strength of the Stars
The stars shine above you, and your aura becomes bright—searing all nearby enemies and granting your allies the strength of the creator.
Daily ✦ Radiant
Standard Action Close Burst 3
Primary Target: Each creature in burst
Attack: Intelligence vs. Fortitude
Hit: 3d8 + Intelligence modifier Radiant damage, and the target is weakened and takes ongoing 10 Radiant damage (save ends).
Miss: Half damage, plus ongoing 5 Radiant damage (save ends).
Secondary Target: Each ally in burst
Effect: The target gains a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls until the end of the encounter.
