A tiefling wearing fiendhide armor, now fused with her skin.

Fiendhide[edit]

A fiendhide armor seem out of the abyss or nine hell, partly made of metallic chitin, sporting horns and spikes and seem, intensely unpleasant to wear. When worn, this armor count as having evil-aligned Armor Spikes and grant the wearer DR 2/Good. This enhancement may be added multiple time, increasing the DR/Good by 2 for each successive iteration.

When worn by an evil outsider this armor partly fuse with their flesh, usually making it look like a part of the creature but exception exist. In this state the armor's max dexterity bonus increase by 2, it armor check penalty decrease by 3 and it arcane spell failure is lowered by 15%. Despite this it can be removed normally, without assistance and in half the time by the wearer.

If worn by a non-evil creature, the armor is particularly uncomfortable, increasing armor check penalty by 2 and reducing max dexterity by 1.
