Fireworks[edit]

These are mundane fireworks, which can by ignited as if a torch (Or by 1 point of Fire damage). After a fuse time (From 1 to 6 rounds, depending on the design), the rockets fire, dealing 1d6 Fire damage to anything in the square from which they launched (Reflex half; DC 15) and heading in a straight line in the direction they are pointed, determined at the time of placement before ignition (Rockets laying on their sides on the ground determine direction by rolling 1d8, like a splash weapon). They move at a speed of 200ft per round, for 1 round (Flight Duration I), 3 rounds (Flight Duration II) or 5 rounds (Flight Duration III). A creature can hold them when they launch in order to point them at a specific target; If they do, they can make a ranged touch attack to hit the target, though the attack roll suffers a -1 penalty for every 20ft the target is away from the creature pointing it at the target. Of course, the target can simply move in order to avoid it if the flight duration is too long.

At the end of their flight, or when striking a solid object, they burst in a shower of sparks out to a radius of 10 to 60 feet (Depending on design). These sparks can be made to produce any image a Silent Image spell could create, though the image is determined at the creation of the rocket, and lasts one 1 round. Creatures caught within the blast are Blinded and Deafened for 1d4 rounds and Dazzled for 1d8 rounds unless they succeed a Fortitude save (DC 10 + 1/2 the Craft DC of the rocket), in which case they are only Dazzled for 1d4 rounds; They are also dealt 1d6 Fire damage, with a Reflex save (Using the aforementioned DC) for half damage. Creatures within 100ft of the rocket when it detonates who were looking at the blast when it occurred (Treat as a Gaze attack) must make a Fortitude save (Using the above DC) or be Dazzled for 1d4 rounds.

Firework rockets can also be used to fuel flight with an Elytron Cloak.

Base fuse time is 1 round and base radius is 10ft; Every additional round of fuse time and every additional 10ft of radius increases the DC by 1 and the price by 5gp - So a Flight Duration III rocket with a 6-round fuse and 60ft radius would cost 275GP and have a craft DC of 40.

Craft (Alchemy): DC 20 (Flight Duration I), DC 25 (Flight Duration II), DC 30 (Flight Duration III).

Market Price: 75 gp (Flight Duration I), 150 gp (Duration II), 225 gp (Duration II). The cost and DC listed are for 5 rockets.
