An old technique of the Force, this allows the user to become almost corpse-like, but at the same time, healing more quickly and being able to subsist on almost nothing.
When this Force power is used, the user enters a state of deep hibernation. While in this state, they require no food or water, and only one-tenth of the air they would normally need. They are unconscious while in this state, and appear dead to any kind of observation. If an ability would supernaturally or magically determine whether someone is dead or alive, the user of that ability must make a level check against a DC of 10 + the user's character level + the user's Intelligence, Wisdom or Charisma modifier (whichever gives the best result), or the ability registers the user as dead.
This state is considered to be full bed rest for the purpose of healing, but the healing rate is tripled instead of doubled. The state can be maintained for up to one day per character level in a dry climate, or four days per character level in a humid one (as beyond this, the user risks death). When this ability is used, the user must declare how long the state is to continue (with a minimum of 1 day), and cannot end it prematurely.
If the user wishes, they can declare a trigger word or phrase (no more than four words) that will end this ability when spoken within earshot. Note that this Force power does not discriminate between who says the phrase - it will simply end the state when the phrase is spoken.
