1. See Damage Increases by Size to calculate the damage for a weapon larger than Medium or smaller than Small.
2. Weight figures are for Medium weapons. A Small weapon weighs half as much, and a Large weapon weighs twice as much.
3. When two types are given, the weapon is both types if the entry specifies "and", either type (player's choice at time of attack) if the entry specifies "or", or each end of the double weapon is a different type if the entry specifies "/".
4. The hp value given is for Medium armor, weapons, and shields. Divide by 2 for each size category of the item smaller than Medium, or multiply it by 2 for each size category larger than Medium.

A hellfire gatling cannon is a set of metal tubes, arranged into a cylinder-like structure, with a magitech motor to rotate it. It's connected to a power supply, which brims with hellfire, allowing it to rapidly shoot a swathe of hellfire bolts. It is a very large and cumbersome weapon, which usually requires it to be fired from a tripod by a two-person crew. A hellfire gatling cannon cannot be wielded by a Medium creature, due to its weight. A Large creature can wield it, but requires two hands to do so, while a Huge or larger creature treats it as a one-handed weapon.

A hellfire gatling cannon deals fire damage, but this damage ignores one point of fire resistance per character level (or CR) of the user, and treats fire immunity as resistance equal to 1/2 of the damage it would deal. Additionally, hellfire gatling cannons add their user's Dexterity modifier to damage rolls (but cannot do so more than once). Hellfire gatline cannons reload themselves, requiring no action on the part of the user, and don't need ammunition.

Hellfire gatling cannons can be fired in one of two ways - a directed burst or a suppressing burst. When fired as a directed burst, the user can fire an additional shot from the hellfire gatling cannon, but all attacks that round take a -2 penalty. If fired as a suppressing burst, instead of making normal ranged attacks, the hellfire gatling cannon's attacks cover a 20ft-radius burst within its range, requiring no attack roll, but only being effective within one range increment. All those within the area are dealt the hellfire gatling cannon's normal damage, with a Reflex save for half. This replaces individual attacks (thus, creatures with iterative attacks can fire more than one suppressing burst). A hellfire gatling cannon cannot be used in both modes in the same turn.
