Iris' Spicy Caltrop Bomb![edit]
A tubular flask of alchemist's fire filled to the brim with caltrops. A fuse on the end can be lit, and after a number of round dictated by the fuse length, the bomb explodes, sending caltrops everywhere. All squares in a 5ft radius of the blast square (including the blast square, so a 15x15 square) become covered in caltrops that are burning with alchemist's fire residue.
The caltrops all burn for one minute before turning into normal caltrops. If a creature steps on the spicy caltrops (successful hit as per caltrop rules) while they are still burning (read: spicy) they must make a DC 15 Reflex save or catch on fire. Creatures set on fire in this manner are on fire for 1d4 rounds.
Creatures inside the blast radius as the bomb goes off must make a DC 15 Reflex save or suffer 1d4 automatic hits from the caltrops. For every caltrop hitting in this manner, deal 1d4+1 piercing damage, and roll for being set on fire as per the previous paragraph. Multiple hits in this manner increases the DC to save from fire by 1 for each caltrop.
The bomb can have a long, medium, short, or very short fuse. The bomb's fuse can be shortened as a free action, but lengthening it requires replacing the fuse with a longer one, which would take a full-round action.
Long fuse - 2d4+1 rounds until detonation.
Medium - 1d6+1 rounds until detonation.
Short - 1d4-1 rounds until detonation.
Very Short - 1d2-1 rounds until detonation. (Roll 1d10, on a 1, bomb explodes in hand.)
