The mancatcher or pincer staff is a weapon about the length of a spear with a mechanical clamp on the end used to entrap a humanoid or other Medium or Small creature.[1]
The mancatcher is a racial weapon of the Kuo-toa.[1]

Special: [2] If the target is a Medium or smaller creature, it has the Grappled condition (escape DC 10 + Strength monifier). Until the grapple ends, the wielder can’t make Mancatcher attacks.

Special: If the target is a Medium or smaller creature, it is grappled (escape DC 10 + Strength bonus + proficiency bonus). Until this grapple ends, the manchatcher can't be used to attack another target.[6]
