Ooplaxii Marrow

This archpotion was originally culled from the magical residue of the blood of a now extinct humanoid race known for their transformations for war. Without the prime ingredient, other substances have since been substituted in the recipe, though the potion kept its name. It is named because it is thick, dark red, bitter and gritty. Ooplaxii marrow is an archpotion. Presented below are three price/duration options.

This archpotion grants the drinker the effects of:

• Bear’s Endurance
• Expeditious Retreat
• Fly

• Duration 5 rounds = 2,910 gp.
• Duration 5 minutes = 3,660 gp.
• Duration 50 minutes = 5,160 gp.

Brew Archpotion Calculations

This item is crafted using the Brew Archpotion feat.

• Minimum caster level of 5 (to cast fly, the highest level component spell).
• Spells Infused:

• Bear’s Endurance: 1 minute/level = 5 minutes. Spell level 2 × caster level 5 × 50 gp +720 gp = 1,220 gp.
• Expeditious Retreat: 1 minute/level = 5 minutes. Spell level 1 × caster level 5 × 50 gp +720 gp = 970 gp.
• Fly: 1 minute/level = 5 minutes. Spell level 3 × caster level 5 × 50 gp +720 gp = 1,470 gp.

• DC = 14 = 10 + 3 (highest component spell level) + 1 (Modifier of a Key Ability of 13 necessary to cast 3rd level spells)
• Base Price = 3,660 gp = 1,220 gp + 970 gp + 1,470 gp.
• Duration = 5 Minutes.
• EXP Cost = 1/25(3,660) = 145 EXP.
• GP Cost = 1/2(5,880) = 1,830 gp to make.
