Pale Maiden's 3rd Eye[edit]
A pale maiden grows this round green gem naturally when attaining enough power, and while the raw gem can be harvested and used without grafting, it has detrimental effects on other creatures. Using a process of arcane seals, specially prepared ointments and mild sonic energy, the gem can be bonded to a new host, granting some of the power of the creature.
A pale maiden's 3rd eye ratnagarbha allows the host to use detect magic and message at will as spell-like abilities and grants a +2 resistance bonus against Illusions and gaze attacks. A creature with a pale maiden's 3rd eye may use sending at will to communicate with other creatures with this graft as well as with pale maidens that possess it.
Any use of the spell-like abilities causes the host to take 1 point of non-lethal damage.
