Pazuzu Splits the Skies

Abyssal Shape; Abyssal Warlock Lesser; 3rd

A master of the skies, Pazuzu is quick to bring down those that would challenge his rule. Like Pazuzu, you shall rule the skies - or else.

If applied, this invocation changes your abyssal blast's ranged blast option to target a square instead of another target (requiring a touch attack against AC 10). If it hits, a blast strikes that spot, perpendicular to the ground, from a height of Long range (or the closest surface, if that would be less). Anything in its path is automatically dealt the blast's damage, with a Reflex save for half. Creatures that are airborne are particularly vulnerable, takes a -4 penalty to their saves. Additionally, any airborne creature damaged by your abyssal blast must make a Fort save or descend a number of feet equal to the damage dealt (rounding up to the nearest 5ft). If this causes them to hit the ground, they count as having fallen that distance.
