|Level:||Blood 3, Corrupt 3|
|Casting time:||1 standard action|
|Target:||Creature touched, up to 1/level (see text)|
|Duration:||Instantaneous (see text)|
|Saving Throw:||Fort partial (see text)|
Practiced only by evil spellcasters, this spell causes its victims to randomly burst open in places on their body. This is debilitating to say the least.
After this spell is cast, the caster may touch a number of creatures equal to their caster level, at the rate of no more than one per round. The same creature cannot be affected more than once with the same rapture of rupture from the same caster. A creature immune to critical hits is not affected by this spell.
A touched subject takes 6d6 damage. Subjects who fail their saves continue to take 1d6 damage each round. Any subject that takes 6 or more damage from this spell in a round is stunned for 1 round. A successful Fort save halves the damage, negates any possibility of stunning, and stops the damage repeating. The damage continues repeating for those who failed their saves until they receive magical healing, a Heal check (DC 20) or die.
