This aged mithral armor developed a deep red patina from impurities in its forging process. The plating is snug, highly articulated and adorned with gilding, gemstones and fine detail work.
This suit of +1 mithral light plate was made for the king of the domain of Pixan Plata. He died of his wounds while giving time for his wife and people to escape the royal temple when the city was besieged by their neighbors, if the legends surrounding it are to be believed. With the collapse of the culture of old Pixan Plata, only the survivors alive today, spread thin, know of the old stories and what artifacts carry on.
The armor serves as a royal outfit, given its regal nature. Regardless of the suits actual enhancement value, it may have any level of armor crystal slotted into it (least, lesser, or greater). If the suit is enhanced further to a +3 value, an additional armor crystal may be slotted into it. Its articulation moves and flexes with the movements of the wearer, changing shape to suit as necessary for armor fitting.
