The first evolution of ripple drive, the user allows their nyimo to become burning hot, increasing the damage output of the technique significantly.
You perform a ripple strike with intense burning hot nyimo, dealing an extra 3d6 fire damage on a successful hit. If used against a creature vulnerable to sunlight (such as vampire, wraith, etc), that creature takes an extra 1d6 fire damage at the start of each of its turns for 3 rounds.
As part of initiating this maneuver, you may spend 1 point of breath energy point. If you do, the attack gains a +2 bonus to hit and deals +1d6 fire damage per two initiator level. The target must also succeeds on a Fortitude save or catch on fire.
If you have this maneuver readied, you may expend it to use Ripple Drive instead.
