This strange and unusual rod is made of heavily ornate shaft of black gold with a large dark ruby head mounted on top. The rod has no inherent magical power to corrupt it wielder, although most of it uses would turn a creature to evil very quickly. It is impractical as a weapon but possess significant magical powers. The rod allow the wielder to use any of the following ray spell, firing from the large ruby head:
- disintegrate (DC 20)
- ruby ray of reversalSpC
- ray of dark sacrifice
- ray of darkest desire (DC 22)
Once the rod has fire cannot fire again for 5 rounds. If a creature succeed it saving throw against one the Rod's ray of darkest desire it is immune to any further attempt made within 1 year.
Prerequisites: Craft Rod, disintegrate, ruby ray of reversal, ray of dark sacrifice, ray of darkest desire, Crafter must be evil.
Cost to Create: 87,500 GP, 7000 EXP, 175 days.
