This spell calls into existence a powerful animated weapon sent by your patron deity. It appears where you designate and acts immediately, on your turn. It attacks your opponents to the best of its ability. The weapon itself is mindless, but the divine power that controls the weapon can be commanded at will; you can direct it not to attack, to attack particular enemies, or to perform other actions.

The animated weapon is the same type as your deity's favored weapon, and has a magical enhancement bonus of +2. Furthermore, the weapon is holy if you are good-aligned, unholy if you are evil-aligned, axiomatic if you are lawful-aligned or anarchic if you are chaotic aligned. The spell has the corresponding alignment descriptor. A true neutral cleric may choose to cast the spell as either good or evil, depending on whether she turns or rebukes undead.

If your deity doesn't have a melee weapon as its favored weapon, you may instead choose to summon a simple weapon of your choice.

You may choose to summon 1d4+1 +1 animated weapons of the deity's favored type instead, but they do not have the holy, unholy, axiomatic or anarchic enhancements.
